I am investigating how museums use social networking tools to build stronger bonds with their local communities. I will showcase museums that are using these tools to increase and enhance member participation, and to engage in open, two-way conversations between the museum and the community. I will report on the conversations and reviews about these programs and their perceived effectiveness.
